As the 2007-2008 academic year begins, the Institute for the Advancement of Social Work Research (IASWR),
an organization created in 1993 to help build social work research capacity for the profession and to represent the social
work profession in the national scientific community and supported by BPD, wants to make sure that BSW faculty members are
well aware of the many resources that we have available that can assist you in research, in grant-writing and in teaching. The IASWR Listserv Announcements
is a weekly e-alert service compiled as a resource to advance social
work education, practice, and policy through social work research. Each issue
is available on the IASWR website and all past issues are searchable. More than
2700 subscribers benefit from the information covered by the sections that include calls for papers, nominations and conferences,
information on upcoming conferences and trainings, funding opportunities, news and notices, online resources, useful publications
and research findings.
