Grandparents as Parents is a Colorado State University site that provides statistical facts about grandparents as parents, advice for grandparents in raising grandchildren, links to other relevant Web sites, and a bibliography of publications on grandparenting. The Grandparents Association, headquartered in the UK, is an association of grandparents. The association has a hotline and an archive of real-life stories about grandparents. The Web site is http://www.grandparents-association.org.uk/.

Grandparents Day is a holiday established under the administration of President Jimmy Carter in 1978. Grandparents Day is the first Sunday after Labor Day. The Web site is http://www.grandparents-day.com/.

The Grandparents Rights Organization is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit corporation, founded in 1984. This organization advocates for the rights of grandparents to have contact with their grandchildren in the event of the death or divorce of the grandchild’s parent. Grandsplace has links to legal and other resources, a chat room, message boards, and an online store. Go to http://www.grandsplace.com/.

Living with Grandparents is a page at the Kidshealth.org site.  It focuses on both the possibility that a grandparent may move in with the child or that the child may move in with the grandparent. National Satellite Video Conference is a site that includes posted questions and answers from a 1999 video conference called "Grandparents Raising Grandchildren: Implications for Professionals and Agencies.” Issues addressed include TANF, grandparent’s rights, and “fitness” of grandparents.
